Like the mosaics of North Africa and Spain, Chapter Six creates vibrancy by uniting disparate pieces. We gather culinary traditions from the land and sea of the Western Mediterranean – from Algeria to Italy, parsley to paprika, a seafood tower to a tagine – to capture the spirit of a coastal getaway.

For its sixth restaurant concept, Rare Roots Hospitality brings the flavors of the Western Mediterranean to South End. At Chapter Six, we defy borders and seek inspiration in the overlap, the liminal spaces where cultures converge to create something distinct. The menu is Spanish with a Moroccan flair, French with an Italian accent. It’s what happens when waves lap onto these shores and blend traditions of land and sea into a style of coastal cuisine found nowhere else. Here, one table – filled with small plates, shared plates, and cocktails – can span a sea and connect countries.
